Ok so I got this app so I could get black cinematic bars also known as a letterbox effect for photos as well, but it wont crop it or allow me to put bars going horizontal. Am I missing something here? Please let me know. Update: I got the bars to be horizontal by flipping the image before putting an aspect ratio on. The problem is that when you crop with certain aspect ratios, it doesnt give a background matte/bars and only crops it. I thought the whole purpose was for adding bars/background when cropped. Definitely not worth $5 till this is fixed

Does what it says & does it well. I use 3 of this developers apps regularly. Good work. Ive only had to contact them once over the months for a minor issue (there was a typo in the help file). Support was pleasant & prompt! I recommend.

Easy to use and includes size options for outputting your finished project. Doesnt touch your original file so you can start over if you or others dont like your crop ratio.

After about half an hour and five different "video cropping" apps, I finally found Crop Videos. It let me crop my video to ANY aspect ratio, so I got to use the golden rectangle I wanted. This is definitely worth the money, as it is the only app on the whole App Store that will actually crop your video. Get it!

Works well for all sorts of cropping, but it works particularly well to make full frame video compatible with Instagram. Would recommend.
